“It’s the guy that’s willing to die that’s gonna win that inch.”
Around 4:00 today, I want you to stop what you’re doing for five minutes. That’s all, five minutes. If you can’t do it at 4:00, do it with an hour left in your shift.
Look back on everything you did today and ask yourself a simple question: did you gain any inches worth having?
Were those inches worth the time you spent on them?
That project at home or work — Are you proud of that? Is it something you love? Is it something you’re willing to die for?
That last question seem kind of harsh? Well, here’s the harsh truth: you are dying for it. Every second you spend on it, every minute, every hour, every day, every week. This is life lived, life gone. Life never to return.
Have you spent it wisely?
If it’s not something you’re willing to die for, then why are you still dying for it?
